Great stuff. Melotus is probably my favorite versio effect. I love granular and like you I feel like it took me some time to get into it. Finally after a few days of focused jamming I finally started to wrap my head around the controls and started to tease some great stuff from it. It really can do some unique things

Hold mode is the best when you use something like a synced- sequential switch or clock divider. It can generate a new version of the buffer every time and makes for an amazing complement to generative music. I tried beads first and swapped it for Melotus afterwards, Mine is never going away.

Neat faderbank sat up front for easy remote control over any 8 cv capable parameters! That's probably handy when you're feeling like tweaking modules all over the rack at the same time.

Awesome jam. Melotus added something to this, but honestly I think the drums and the reese bass are the best part! I've used Melotus a few times but haven't found an advantage over Beads, so I tend to use other Versio firmware more. Oh and I learned that DivKid's Øchd module is pronounced "oct" like the beginning of "octave."

Heck yeah! It's 8 lfos, thus ochd. It's the mad lads in Glasgow that use (I'm certain to get this wrong) Gaelic, or Gallic, or a related language to name their modules.

Excellent groove. Wonder if that student was me (Chad)...love love melotus and leave it dedicated despite originally buying it as Electus. Trying to resist buying a 2nd Versio and just get the Melotus faceplate but a 2nd versio is so appealing (looking at you Ruina).

​@neoaltima I like to take these vids as inspiration like that too. Pick out a little bit of sound or melody, and see if I can attempt something similar with what I have at hand / vcv rack. Usually just spending time attempting to build a patch that approxi.ates a timbre.
