@@saintsinningsword not too many people can get an attorney to answer a phone call after hours, you’d be a millionaire and paying him/her well. He would tell to remain silent and tell you to call his assistant the next business day and make an appointment. A cop doesn’t have to wait for an attorney to show up at the arrest site. If you stay silent and refuse field sobriety test you’ll be arrested, processed and released usually the same night. Then go see your attorney on regular business hours. You’ll have plenty of time before you see a trial.

You should always refuse the field sobriety test. Nobody ever passes it even when sober. In Tennessee there are over 600 DUI arrests in which the person was proven to be completely free of alcohol or drugs.
