How beautiful Jeanne Cooper was, even in her golden years. Miss our Katherine Chancellor.
Grew up watching Y & R since it started. She was so diverse in her roles that she played all types of women roles. I love watching her and Angela Lansbury in the westerns. The saloon days were the best. Jeanne Cooper you shined all of these years and you will always be that shining star.

I've been watching this show since I was 12 years old. I'm 66 now. Watching this makes me shed tears because you just don't realize that even one day they are going to leave this world just as we will. I've mourned their deaths as if they were family, each and every one of them. I know that we all are going to go one day but it's still hard to see them on TV for so many years, then one day you turn on the show and realize that I won't see them again. For those that have Departed this world, Your Existence is no more, But None of you Will Ever Be Forgotten. You touched me and others in so, so many ways over the Years. May All Of You Rest Easy In Heaven,At Peace With GOD. In The Name Of Jesus.

Amazing how grand she was in style, character, and elegance. I will always remember the Y&R theme song and Mrs. Chancellor's image appearing lovingly on the screen. All my love!

She was an amazing woman, stunning in her beauty, stunning in her talent and STUNNING in her spirit. I love the picture of her in the red with her arms outstretched, like she is saying "I love you all", which I'm betting she was. We will miss you Jeanne. May we all live as well as you did, and be as loved as you were, you and Mrs. C were the same person, genuinely, and I think that came through to all of us, which is why we loved you! Rest in Peace. xx

Do I ever miss Catherine/Jeanne. I started watching y&r with my mom when I was 4. Jeanne passed away when I was 31, so most of my adult life so far. I remember how fancy and tough she was. Catherine reminded me a bit of my own nana who passed away 7 years before Jeanne did. Do I ever miss them both. I haven't really watched y&r since Jeanne passed away.

I’ve been in and out of Y and R for years. Any particular reason why Sharon Case was not included in the tribute? Would it have been out of place to have her included? She is a major player in the soap but maybe she didn’t have a connection to Katherine? The same for Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott)?
