Growing up in the early 70's Sir Roger Moore was my hero, my 'Bond'. I too have been watching Live and Let Die, The Man With The Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me and also Moonraker too! (I love the photography in that movie) I haven't got a favourite movie as they all bring back fond memories of my childhood. I also own a few Seiko SKX007 watches. Even though he didn't wear this particular model the 007 means such a lot to me. Thank you for posting this.

My favorite Moore movies are "Live & Let Die" and "A View To A Kill". The former because it's quite funny and a decent movie all around, and the latter because it was the one to come out in my teen years, and I associate it with good times.

I love your videos and although I am mostly aware of most Seiko's from movies, it is incredible to see one guy having so many of these pieces!!

Great video. I really enjoy when you talk a bit in-depth about the history of Seiko watches - I'm sure that I'm not the only one that would mind seeing more historical Seiko content like this from you. I just got off of work and I'm playing The Spy Who Loved Me soundtrack in the background while drinking a beer as my little salute to Sir Moore and your video was perfect round off.

That Arnie is in beautiful shape. I got one new and have beat the hell out of it for over 30 years. Still a wonderful watch to wear and I do regularly.

Polite correction at 4.48, A View to a kill, was from 1985, The Bond release from 1983 was Octopussy , featuring another Seiko watch, the digita,l G757 which Casiio mimicked with their AE 1200, which has become known as the, Casio Royale. Cheers Sir Roger Moore.

I've read that Roger Moore was as charming, gracious, and witty in real life as he was as James Bond. The humor he brought to his portrayal of Bond made for a much more faceted and charismatic figure. Thanks for honoring one of my childhood heroes.

Great video, I'm with you as a child of the late 60's, growing up with Roger Moore as Bond. Great idea to relive the great Roger Moore as only watch nerds can. Keep up the great work, I always learn so much from your videos.

Cool video. I'm a huge Bond fan and Rodger Moore was my Nond also. View to a Kill was my first Bond movie I went to by myself when I was a teenager. Love the story of how you got your Arnie. Very fortunate! Thank you.

Terrific video Spencer. Roger Moore was "my Bond" too. I discovered the older Connery movies because of him. I then devoured the Flemming books. Thank you for the tribute!

Great little video on some select Roger Moore 007 watches. He was also my Bond I grew up on and actually knew first. And, yes, now that I've been into watches over the past few years and have looked into various makes and their histories more closely even more recently, I was delightedly surprised to see just how many Bond watches were of Seiko make. I think in the history of movies, Seiko might be the leader in big screen time. Of course, there are a few more examples which you do not personally own which are also Seiko. And, I think TGV should probably give a shout out to you for having some excellent Roger Moore 007 related watch info.. i believe he is planning on doing one himself soon. Lastly, I believe more people should give Seiko credit to be as rich in heritage, innovation and original style for building quality timepieces for so many years. As such, I still can't understand why a perfectly nice Grand Seiko isn't seriously considered to be of equal, if not truly better, bang for buck when they demand several $1000's.. some feel they just aren't worth it cause.. well, it's not Swiss and it's a Seiko.. Rubbish thinking, I say. Refer back to one of you videos about Seiko's excellent finishing and robust in-house movements and the very cool Spring Drive technology and those alone are worth every penny. Besides, if it was good enough to be in at least half of the total collection of Bond movies to date in the company of Rolex and Omega, why the lack of respect and credit?.. Good enough for Bond should be good enough for everyone.

I found it! watchesinmovies.info/tv/saint-the-1962-1969/ There was a Zenith pocket watch, a Bulova Regetta 23, and an Omega dress watch. I wouldn't mind tracking down one of those Bulovas if they were going for a song.

Exactly right MH Law. Ffoukes (the part played by Roger Moore) wears the Golden Seiko. You can watch the entire film on Youbtube. Roger is great in the film and the watch features with a close-up at 1.22.23. Well worth a watch (no pun intended).

Roger Moore was known for his eyebrow raising which was satirised a lot in the uk. Sean Connery was the only bond who was believable in fight scenes. Sean Connery wore Rolex.
