Demo had that time and area restriction. And this game is all about not restricting. The huge world in all of its glory in different weathers and times of day still amazes me. I am still very much hyped about this game. :)

It is that amazing Avalanche Engine. It is explained in Just Cause Developer Diary 3 found here in KZbin. Weather depends on humidity, temperature and air pressure. Wow.

I agree,this game deserves allot more popularity! I mean seriously,when you type in Google Just Cause you mostly get things about Just Cause 2,instead of Just Cause!

Car handling varies a lot. Some cars are almost unsteerable (very hard to do minor steering maneuvers). Some cars handle nicely.

I have the PC version with every setting maxed out and everyhitng running at a smooth framerate. Looks almost exactly like the 360 version. But the one thing I loved is that when you fly above the couds during a thunderstorm, you could see the lightning lighting up the could below. The noly thing I dont like is that while you could take a million bullets and live, you cant even get run over by a car and live :(

I keep finding interesting things from Just Cause. Did you know, that you can try to avoid rain by avoiding raind clouds or find rain by heading towards them? In how many games can you do that? Weather and lighting truly are amazing in this game.

It is not that bad. Hoods and doors may drop, lights can be broken and tyres that go flat when shot. Also vehicle explosions look great.

I suggest, that you check Just Cause PS2 videos from KZbin. There is a big difference between those videos and those from Xbox 360 version. For example, draw distance from 8km to 32km. And I have seen this game on 42 inch HDTV and let me tell you: WOW!

the way that he leaps out of the car is the completely WRONG way to do it, you can seriously injure yourself leaping out in a dive roll like that.

yeah this game is awesome! it combines parts of gta, burnout, mercenaries and much more. And the world is reeeaaaallly big, even on ps2 it takes much more than an hour only to ship around it in the fastest boat...

the shooting part of this game is not very realistic-all the assault rifles are way too in-accurate and you have to shoot an enemy about 3 times in the head before they die and when you kill someone by shooting them they fly backwards about 10 feet. but apart from the shooting i love this game-the vehicles and the free falling are very fun

Onother thing is... They are both the same, the xbox 360 version just has better graphics & a couple more things like... clouds, and a longer draw distance.
