Story 5: OP, if you see this - absolutely, under no circumstances, let the older sister know that you’re telling your family. She reeks of someone who wants to “protect her family image.” Make no mistake, she doesn’t see her ex as the enemy, YOU are the enemy to her. You are the one that’s “destroying her life.” Please just go straight to your parents and other siblings. Don’t give her the chance to manipulate the narrative or to lash out at you. Best of luck tho ❤ we’re all rooting for you

Jerry, you healed a part of me when you said “everyone had a right to know what went on. She has the right to disclose whatever she wants to whoever she wants because it’s real”♥️

LOL I find it so funny when Jerry has little ways of pushing Morgan's buttons and she has to reel him back in 🤣"You're like a human hyperbole," @ 22:50, I chuckled. He's such a dad! Love it.

Heavy agree with Justin on story 3! The entire I was listening I kept thinking that it really isn’t about op right now. I totally understand the stress and disappointment of a plan not working out, but a man just got diagnosed with something life altering. Have grace for those around you.

Justin, with story number 3, hit the nail on the head with one swing. Sometimes we get so caught up in our own feelings, our own wants and needs that we don't see the bigger picture. No judgment on OP at all. Doesn't mean she's a bad person. Hopefully, she hears this and takes it in and doesn't get defensive and tries to justify what she meant. This is life. Things happen & plans change. Does it suck? Absolutely!! You have to be flexible and change with them, though. If you guys renovating and/or living with Grandpa isn't an option, then you'll have to make your own way. Just be very careful about how you say and ask things, because this can turn into a bad family situation. Wish her the Best of luck!!

Story 4: The baby name thing literally JUST happened to me with my sister in law. Almost exactly the same situation, except they didn’t tell us they would use the name until after she was born. Your guy’s reactions make me feel sooo validated. It’s not my write in, but I soo appreciate your opinions on this story ❤️❤️

Last story - completely agree with Morgan and Jerry everyone needs to KNOW about the ex husband’s behavior. The sister is caught in a vicious cycle with him and is probably why she keeps gravitating back to him. If she decides to stay with all the dirty laundry aired that’s on her.

Story 5: she should cut out her sister from her life and tell her family about what happen and that she told her sister and she did nothing to protect you from the very beginning. She might be blood but that not how a sister should act, protect yourself and your family.

Big sister has no right to ask you to not talk about your own experience. It’s her husband, but it’s your experience and harassment and violation. Quit keeping quiet to protect perpetrators. It sucks that it’s embarrassing for her, but she has the choice to deal with him right and cut him out for unacceptable behavior.

Story 4: Get a pet and name it either Luca or the SIL name. Story 5: Do not give the sister a heads up. Tell everyone and bring the receipts. I would at least attempt to press charges. Also, the sister isn't the one that was asulted, what does she "get over?"

Hot take on the baby name story......... She shouldn't have shared the name. I get hindsight is 20/20, but my hot take is that the writer had no rights to the name. Do I think what the sister in-law did was shitty and would I be upset if I were her? ABSOLUTELY! It's a garbage move by brother and sister in-law, but sadly it's a lesson the writer learned the hard way. My friend and I were both engaged at the same time and she begged me to know what my first dance song was. I knew if she stole it, that I would never forgive her, so I kept it to myself and I am glad I did.

Story one is very scary. As someone who grew up in a mixed family, watching My mom get beat my multiple boy friends and 3 attempted murder against her and myself. If they randomly start complying after months of begging, when you are on the verge of leaving because you FINALLY are sick of the abuse. Chances are high he has a plan to make sure you can NEVER leave. Often times abusers will escalate rapidly when they feel their victims pulling away. ❤ I hope she finds the strength ro leave and that she potentially just move in with either one of the kids or where she has many neighbors.

Our family can nearly completely relate to story 5 unfortunately. Sister spoke to family about what happened with BIL and luckily there’s a protective and united front but other sis has completely isolated herself from us to protect her peace in her relationship completely ignoring/forgiving BIL. very sad and unfortunate situation

Story 4, she should have held her ground and not shared the names, but also we need to look at it through a different lens. This child is here, he exists his name is Luca, and OP doesn't have children yet and even when she does there is no guarantee that she will have a son, she may have all daughters and wouldn't be able to use the name Luca anyway.

Because clearly it was not those parents imagination that came up with that name they literally took it from the family member who is going to use it. I find that a complete violation. So uncool they should’ve gotten creative on their own. Waited for the baby to show up and see what name would come at that point in time. Just my thought dad

Story 2: I get you. I told my MIl that I needed some space from her after I found out she was telling the whole family that me and my husband weren’t treating her right. She proceeded to ignore me and screenshot my message to send to my husband and SIL, they both showed me 😂 I haven’t talked to her in almost two months- we didn’t attend Thanksgiving and we’re not going to Christmas… She’s a selfish enmeshed mother to my husband- to many things to mention here, but she’s not there for him and invalidates him constantly when they did talk more. He still responds to her sometimes but doesn’t really engage like he used to. We are both a lot more peaceful and have more room to grow together and on our own but we can juggle all our responsibilities now that we don’t have to put up with her shit anymore :) *edit to add: I decided to go all the way no contact after the way she handled my confrontation with her and didn’t take any accountability. She actually keeps telling the family she doesn’t understand what she did to garner sympathy for her and us look bad 🙄

LUKA BABY NAME STORY: I only don't understand why did OP say she doesn't respect her boyfriend's parents since it wasn't their decision to name the baby Luka, but sister and brother in law's? Like why throw a whole family (you admit you are having more than a great time with) under the bus, just because of 2 particular people? I am sorry if I have misunderstood something, but if otherwise I found this whole situation taken WAYYY out of proportion!

I think probably they chose their own name for the second child but emphasis was on the stolen name. They probably didn't share that name for privacy and because it wasn't any of the already listed names.

Morgan, as an OT I would think that in story 3 you might not think it would be a good idea for the family to move in with grandpa because the little girl is so young. Yeah he might fall and need help but it would be better if a professional without small children were there to take care of him/help him. My godmother had cancer and was living with her daughter and their kids but her kids were a bit older and actually able to help their grandma instead of adding to the stress and they grew super close because of it b

Children, small dogs, rugs are always a concern with people and falls, but I'm assuming OP would be cautious given littles age and grandpas known history. But if they're expecting grandpa to step in babysit, pick up little, etc. then I'd be like nope not cool.

I understand how brand deals work but looking down reading the whole ad is not it. Just makes it seem super disingenuous. I get they're all scripts but at least some sound like they're from the heart. Also not taking time to memorize the few lines makes it just seem like it is just an ad to make money not something you actually love. Every ad morgan does is like this.
