The truth is that song saved Death Row. They made millions off white rap fans and their parents that didn't approve of most rap and hip hop of the time. Tipper Gore all but broke 2 Live Crew in court. There were many other controversies then too. Rap needed any sorta win it could get to survive. Sadly this was one of them. House of Pain was another.

Yo listen to the real uncut version of ice ice baby. The song is still making more money than any rap song ever even in 2022 no rapp artist has never sold more albums than he did and when he toured that off that CD he made so many millions of dollars & then was able to bring the rapper he wanted on tour with him and took so many rap artists that are huge today that would blow your mind like Dr Dre's the chronic able I'll pay for it by vanilla ice paid for everything for them to come on tour with him too. And is deeply respected for helping the hip Hop rise. And vanilla ice has actually put out about 10 albums they're all good. And still performs till today doing sold out shows and even putting out just recently a song with Rick Ross and has made even more and is later years because he owns so many mansions different states that he started a reality show called then flips houses. Where he goes and buys an amazing home has a crew he hires to go get it out we fix it back up the way he thinks it should be all modern updates and puts it up way higher price than he bought it for and makes shitload of money off the show and off of flipping those houses. Has a hot wife and still can battle rap with the best.
