Sammy Davis Jr. passing away at age 64 was completely unexpected. Jim Henson’s death was so unexpected also as he had more to give regarding the Muppets. So was Stevie Ray Vaughn’s death as he had been considered by many folks as one of the all time great guitarists of his generation.

Sammy Davis Jr a complete rounded performer.
@alextepe43097 ай бұрын
Sammy Davis jr was a legendary dancer, singer, and actor. And his death hit many of Us hard as we wish that he could have lasted a lot longer than 64 years. Sinatra saw Sammy as a little brother, and it angered him something fierce in the early 60s where Sammy was permitted to perform at certain Las Vegas hotels, but prohibited from staying in them because of his skin color. Frank and Sammy were able to convince many of the hotel owners that in a town like Vegas , the only color that should matter is green. They agreed and desegregated Vegas. In an interview many years later Frank Jr, proud of what his father had done, said that 20th century prejudice has no place in the 21st century except in the history books.
