I did get to see him play, and he embodied what a team sport should really be all about. Don't be fooled into thinking he could not have scored 30 points a game if he wanted to, but the Celtics would not have won those Championships. He was the absolute true GOAT for reasons that today's players can't even comprehend. I have been blessed with being able to watch both Bill Russell and Tom Brady really show how a team sport is meant to be played.

All my life I have always known of the sacrifice he had to endure to play the game he loved. No one in todays NBA understands that. We go through this life not knowing how his life changed and he became a different person because of it. He helped pave the way for change and equality.
