This is a video made to commemorate the memory Andreas Katsulas 1946-2006. Another great actor who had a astounding roll on the TV series Babylon 5. I did not make this but i feel its a wonderful commemorate to him that everyone should see.

The casting was perfect. Andreas was known for playing villains, but JMS knew he could do more than just that, he could also be a hero. That's what the role needed, someone who could do both and Andreas did so splendidly

I kind of feel Londo and G'Kar were the most interesting characters and formed the main pivot upon which the whole show rotated over time ... they went from bitter enemies to devoted friends and through their changes taught so many lessons to be learned
@OpenMawProductions
@OpenMawProductions 7 жыл бұрын
There's a reason Londo narrated the pilot. Everyone thought it was so odd when it came out that Londo was the narrator... Five seasons later it makes perfect sense. In the end Londo and G'kar are the real main characters of the show. Their behavior and choices shape the course of so many events, big and small.
@InfernosReaper

@@mountainstartemple6041 We know early on from a vision that G'kar will kill Londo. It was like "yeah, fair enough." When it was revealed that it wasn't done out of revenge or malice, but instead out of compassion and friendship, it really had weight.

JMS wrote such great quotes... but this man delivered them with such authority, presence and emotion. He made Babylon 5 work. Period. Babylon 5 is my most favorite show and it's a shame a man like this can't even be seen on syndication. His biggest role was the one-armed man in "The Fugitive". He deserved better, I think.

The character of G'Kar became what we should all be. If every man, woman and child exercised the awesome spiritualism G'Kar did, along with the wisdom, oh what a magnificent society we'd have! God would be proud! Andreas was perfect as G'Kar. He had the voice that made you sit and listen, even when G'Kar wasn't such a nice little Narn. It's unfortunate he's not around anymore, but it makes us treasure what he's left behind that much more. In Andreas' accomplishments, God should be proud.
