It's lovely to see how you can feel the bridges between analog and digital. I really appreciate your art.

If anyone is wondering, the tape recorder is a Uher 4400 Report Monitor.

This is exactly what I wanted to listen to on a rainy, moody, “lie in bed and doing a whole lot of nothing” Saturday

you should probably listen to Celer, its nothing but this kind of reel to reel warm drone, sometimes pretty heavenly, sometimes pretty nostalgic, always warm.

Absolutely love the addition of a tape loop into your setup. Maybe the speed control can be modified with a CV input and this could become a real time delay effect :)

Argh this doesn’t help my impractical years-long wish to have a reel to reel multitrack Machine. Nice video!

love this..as usual I could feel myself relaxing as I played this back 3 times in a row. Did I see a mention that you were on a stage at a festival in Europe in the last month or 2?

This would be fun to do with a Dolly Parton's Jolene track. Not sure why that popped into my head.

Awesome! How does the tape have so much slack while its looping that you can manipulate it like this?
@annannie5 жыл бұрын
by having the tape loop around the lamp, it gives a sort of “playing field” in which I can interact with the speed of which the tape moves through the heads. By pulling out excess tape, slack is created!
