I love your videos sooo much!! your my comfort youtuber! a few days ago i was in the worst reading slump EVERRR! i watched just ONE of your videos and instantly got out of that slump. I went to the store to buy a new book “a good girls guide to m*****” (don’t wanna type that just in case!) and finished it in 6 days which is great for me! i’m starting a new books now “love & gelato” all because of you! thank you so much haley!! love you!!💗💗

I HIGHLY recommend getting blue light glasses (or a special prescription if it’s bad enough) for using computers. I was getting migraine for like a month or two and my eye doctor told me it was because of using my laptop so I got a second pair of glasses with blue light lenses and a prescription with a different angle and it’s helped so much

Haley! I think that you should make a video buying "Blind dates with a book" and do a review on the books you got and the packaging. They look like so much fun and I think it would be a fun video idea. Maybe I am too late to the trend, but there are still a lot of good options both on Tiktok, Etsy, ect! Maybe you could even do a video wrapping blind date with a books out of your library with books that you are willing to give up and putting them in your local Mini town square library!

I have bifocals and when they’re not sitting on my face right I get the worst headaches behind my eyes!! it happens so frequently too. putting eyemask ice packs on my forehead relieves it half of the time and the tension from the band feels better but the pain is so REAL

I used to get headaches everyday and then I got glasses this year for the first time in my life at 22 and its reduced my headaches by probably 90%!! Wear those glasses girl!!

I had the same problem with my eyes. horrible headaches and my eyes would hurt all the time. i got glasses and now contacts and almost never get them anymore!! It really is a great feeling when you finally find the problem!! :)

Haley, you got me into reading more books because of you and found a lot of books I liked, like the reappearance of Rachel price! The 3 longest books I’ve read I’ve finished within 2 or 3 weeks, which is mostly because you inspire me to read more. I love the videos and I’m happy for you guys going to cali, I’m also going this summer in about 4 days.

I'm not sure if it would be the same for you but when I know I'm going to be working on a computer for most of the day I wear my glasses instead of my contacts. I notice a huge difference in my tension headaches when I wear my contacts vs when I wear my glasses. I'm not sure why it happens, maybe because contacts can dry out your eyes. Also, have so much FUN while you guys are in Cali! This is such a fun thing to do!

I hope you enjoyed your time in CA! As someone who grew up in LA….it’s truly a vibe. We have the best weather, diversity, foods, nature, etc. I moved to Dallas last summer…and let’s just say it’s not a vibe here yet 😂

As a previous bookseller for B&N it’s possible that the publisher allowed it to go out early and that it wasn’t an accident (so don’t feel bad). When we get new shipments it says in our system when the book release date is and if it is red then we have to wait until that date but if it is black we can put it out early even if the date hasn’t happened yet :) it probably is the same at other stores? But I guess I don’t know that for sure.

The same exact thing happened to me with my eyes and putting on my glasses helped so much!! I normally just wear my glasses when I read at night but my eyes started getting irritated and twitching in the middle of the day and literally all I needed to do was put on my glasses omg. You having the same thing also makes me feel like it was for sure the glasses!

I’m nearsighted and I discovered this when my headaches were consistent, by the end of the day my head was pounding! My brothers would poke fun because I would ask what letter I was looking at on the tv, it was fuzzy… Went to the eye doctor, found out my left eye could not see far distance and my right eye was overcompensating for it causing my headaches. Now I wear my glasses and no more headaches 🙃 Thinking of getting contacts because my toddler has a bad habit of jumping on me and smudging my glasses 😅

I get tension headaches from reading in kindle and classes (all online) and they get way worse with contacts so I think maybe lookout for that dont buy a lot of boxes just like one or two for each eye. Also costco glasses and contacts are 10x cheaper and you can bring your own frame and itll be $25 more but worth it!
