When my daughter was being married, Martina's version would work for a dad so I wrote to Ben and asked him for this version of the song for the Father Daughter dance and he was kind enough to send me an MP3. There wasn't a dry eye in the house when we danced to this. Just a beautiful rendition. I just love it.

To take a song by a singer as... amazing as Martina McBride (Whether you like country music or not you have to admit the woman is absolutely astonishing) and to be able to do such a fantastic job, To be able to do the original so much justice, and still make it your own, with that Benjamin Costello sound we all love... You may not remember, but you allowed me to use your version of this song at my wedding back in 2009 to for my Father/Daughter Dance. I had found you here on KZbin and somehow managed to get in contact with you, and you were so incredible in helping me get a version that our DJ could use (and of course give you credit for). So many people commented on what a beautiful version it is. Today is one year since my father passed away suddenly in his sleep. My Dad loved your song and dancing with him to it is is one of my most favorite memories. Thank you for giving me the gift of that memory. ❤️

Every so often, I hear a cover of a song that adds an indescribable depth of beauty, which the orignal song did not have. I believe that Martina McBride's cover is pretty famous, and since it's in a good key for a female singer, you might be able to find it at a music store in or around your town. It could be as sheet music, or possibly as part of a collection- it would be under something like "modern country ballads" or possibly in an anthology of songs by Martina McBride. I have never bought sheet music online, but it might be worth looking there...
