Since we don't live in an area with In N Out Burgers we had to give it a try during our latest trip to Las Vegas

The potatoes are fresh not frozen. They run a tight ship, lines always moving as well as drive through. If I order to go, my fries are gone before I get home, gotta eat ‘em hot!

Animal Style also includes mustard grilling of the patties. That means that they put mustard on the burger before laying it down on the grill, so it cooks in slightly burnt mustard for extra flavor plus extra sauce and grilled onions

The fries are hand cut and fresh. I used to watch the staff cut fries when I was a child. The original In n Out was built in El Monte, CA and #2 is in Covina. The meat is the best quality. In n Out has their own ranch. It's a simple meal and the best quality. Family owned.

You can't compare In&Out to regular fast food because nothing is processed or frozen. The fries aren't the best, but you can order them to whatever doneness you prefer.

In N Out is great at the Promenade. The workers are also usually very cheerful which is rare for fast food these days. It might be packed but the line moves quick. This is usually our “cheap meal” option on night one in Vegas. 5 Guys since Covid is way overpriced now.

Had In-N-Out the 1st time in Las Vegas, different location. Line was out the door, but not too long. Actually enjoyed it. When they started popping up here in Texas, I didn't care for it anymore. I've had it in Austin and up near Dallas and they were both 👎. Whataburger all day, baby! 🕺

In n Out has an interesting story and there is an unofficial book about it. The current CEO who is the Granddaughter of the founders has also written a book but I have not read that one. We lived in the Midwest for 10 years and always loved getting our InN Out when we visited. Glad you enjoyed it. Animal Style meat is grilled in mustard with the grilled onions.

My wife and I honeymooned in Vegas. I was so excited to try in-n-out. Being from the east coast I had never had one. To be honest.. I was disappointed.. idk if someone over cooked it or what but it wasn’t even a decent burger. A friend of mine from California was surprised that I didn’t like it. I’d like to try it again sometime if I ever get near another one.

For us the burger was decent for the cost but the fries started bad and only got worse. Seems lots of people think the fries are not good.

Ask for the fries extra crispy. many people complain about the fries but that's because In - n - Out has fresh potato sliced in front of you and fried in front of you French fries and people are used to the myriad of fries that are partly potatoes but also tons of chemicals and preservatives in them and MSG as well. They forgot what a real potato tastes like. Just get them crispy and they are awesome!

In & Out is a great value and quality for the money. I am not a big fan of “animal style”, but the fried onions make it worth it. Shake Shake is great as well but getting expensive for what it is. I wish they would open up an In & Out here in PA.

Service is always great at In n Out and the prices are great for Vegas! You have to order their fresh cut fries well done and the burgers are good, but so many other places have more flavourful burgers. I'm a Shake Shack girlie, myself.

The lines at In & Out move pretty fast because they don't have a big menu with many choices, so there is only so much that people can order, which is a good thing. Burger, fries and soda/shake. Your only choice is whether you want the Animal Style add on, which I always get. Can't go wrong with In & Out for a decent burger at a low price.

Another “secret” menu item is you can add chopped green chilis to your burger. If you like green chilis, it’s a good add.

As a cheeseburger connoisseur, for me it is a tie between Five Guys and In and Out for a “chain” burger. They are almost apples and oranges though because the produce that comes with In and Out is hands down a game changer. On the other hand, the Five Guys burger is much more meaty but twice as much! I’m embarrassed that I even have this much of an opinion.

In n Out is a California icon. As someone who grew up with In n Out, no one from California is that big on "Animal Style". All these new You Tubers seem to order Animal style because they googled the "secret menu" but it's not a thing. In n out doesn't do Door Dash and they are not a franchise. They are family owned and been around 76 years. The menu is kept simple and it works

They called the thousand islands is called Spread. You can also get grilled onion. Remember you only paid $6 for a double double. Everyone compares it to shake shack where it cost double. Also protein style is no bun wrap in lettuce for carb friendly

You can actually order the fries "well done" to get extra crisp. InO cuts their fries fresh on site and does only one deep fry on them. So their fries will never be super crispy. I like them the way they are, but some people really want that second fry crisp.

You can’t get fresher fries than the ones there. They chop the potato for fries within minutes per your order. They are not frozen. No hamburger place is busier than In-N-Out. They must be pretty good.

While In-N-Out isn't the best burger ever, it's the best value by far and it's super consistent. There's a lot of little nuances that people don't always notice that put them above other burger joints of the same price (I'm talking to you McDonalds.) The lettuce is fresh and the tomatoes are actually ripe most of the time. The buns taste better than other places and they toast them on the grill. Animal style burgers and "well done" fries are always the way to go and they don't cost extra even though they're more work/ingredients. The staff stays on top of the cleanliness of the restaurant even though they're super busy and they seem like they actually want to be there, unlike other fast food joints.

Thanks for letting us know how long the commute was to your room to account for any depreciation in freshness of food. Recommendation: Do a 24 hour challenge without a hotel room " off the Vegas strip. " Fewer stops and more quality meal time experiences. Unfortunately ,In n Out does hot have a good reputation for fries.Have jrard ask for double fried and they will be better.Have not tried this or animal style or anything else.Also not 5 guys anything and Shake Shack just opened somewhere here in Orange County Calif. Ive never understood the hype for this burger place. We have them all over California. Fries are awful. Now you want a great burger go to Durango to Irv's burgers. They are very good

Honest review. From LA originally Jersey. Never saw the big whoop over In n Out ! And yes if you don't eat the fries immediately they are like eating cardboard. Never cared for them the few times I've been in 25 years. Upside is everything is fresh never frozen. If your still at the Flamingo which I've stayed many times try Off the Strip rite across from in n out. Great burger and chicken sandwich!!! And you get to sit down.....❤

Here in Utah I have five guys, shake shack and in n out within 2 miles of each other. First animal style is the only way for in n out. In n out is also by far the best value. Shake shack here is honestly disappointing.

We tried In-N-Out Burger for the first time last trip to Vegas and what a disappointment after hearing from all these different people how great it was. there are a lot of other places that have better fries and better Burgers I wish someone could explain to me what the big deal is about in and out burger that will make people stay in line waiting that long!

Whattabooger is trash. Not a burger joint despite their name. They kinda a little bit of everything like chicken churros, apple pie like Jack in the Box but doesn't specialize in anything. Bread is usually stale and the Whattaboogers in Texas have severe rodent problems. Check the videos on youtube.
