This is a touchy subject, considering the then-and-now of it. The Spanish pushed the Indians off their lands with 'Spanish Land Grants'. Then the White settlers moved in and ruined the rancho system. Then the Hispanics moved back into the Southwest and tried to reclaim the land. And now the SW states are close to civil war. I can hardly wait for what's coming next.
