Had watched Leslie Howard’s film from 1941 “Pimpernel Smith” he had died by the time you were 7 years old. But I see him as a kindred spirit to you in his interpretations his art and his sense of humor. Very much enjoyed your sonnet about the idilic existence of the short lived butterfly Mr P.

Thank you, Mr P. It's been a wonderful summer for butterflies, plus bees, lots of both which is very encouraging.

"to spend short days in purposeful delight" Sounds lovely, that! So nice,to hear your enchanting voice again 😊 there needs to be a word for the cadence/ambiance/impersonation (haha!) of a lullaby, embodied in one voice. A lullaby for the very, very grown up. 😁

What a lovely breath of fresh air your channel is which I discovered after enjoying your Lord Wimsey portrayals. Now I've learned of your beautiful artwork too. Thank you for sharing all these things. "They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing." (Psalm 92:14 KJV)

Diction as light as a butterfly 🦋 This reminds me of Gerard Manly Hopkins.
