It’s Sunday evening here in New England, USA after two weeks of torrential rain, we’ve come through the other end finally. So this from Mr. Petherbridge is wonderful, as is everything he does.

Thank you Mr P. I have never been so pleased to see, hear and taste rain as I was at the weekend! Hope you chased your rather elegant hat and caught it. Take care.

We suffer through a heat-wave here on Canada's west coast, and I feel I've forgotten the sound, the look, the taste, and the feel of rain. Thank you for this meditation on rain writ large!

What a lovely thing to imagine - EP the boy ruminating in the street how to make the tragedy turn out right, "if they'd all made better decisions" 🤗 So true, and such a pure-hearted response to a story. Rain makes things "right again", usually, doesn't It? 😁
