অভিনেত্রী হিসাবে প্রতিষ্ঠা পেতে যথেষ্ট বেগ পেতে হয়েছে তাঁকে। দীর্ঘ পাঁচবছর ধরে বিভিন্ন প্রোজেক্টের জন‍্য নানান প্রোডাকশন হাউসে ঘুরে ঘুরে অডিশন দিয়েছেন। সুযোগ পাওয়া তো দূরের কথা বেশিরভাগ ক্ষেত্রেই জুটেছে অপমান, কটাক্ষ। কেউ কেউ সরাসরি বুঝিয়ে দিয়েছিলেন যে তাঁর মতো দেখতে মেয়েদের স্ক্রিনে মোটেই ভালো লাগবে না। সুতরাং অভিনয় করা উচিত হবে না তাঁর। তবু হাল ছেড়ে দেননি অর্কজা। অর্কজা আচার্য‍্য। নিজের দক্ষতায় মুখ‍্য চরিত্রাভিনেত্রী হিসাবে সুযোগ পান 'ওগো নিরূপমা'য়। তারপর আর পেছনে তাকাতে হয়নি। একের পর এক ধারাবাহিকে সুযোগ পেয়েছেন নিজের অভিনয় দক্ষতায়। অর্কজার অভিনেত্রী হওয়ার গল্প অনুপ্রেরণা দিতে পারে স্বপ্নপূরণ করতে চাওয়া যেকোন কাউকে। জোশ Talks এর মঞ্চে আজকের অতিথি অর্কজা আচার্য‍্য।
She had to gain sufficient impetus to prove herself as an actress. For five long years, she auditioned for diverse projects in various production houses. Far from getting opportunities, insults and mockery have been added in most cases. Some even pointed out that her looks are not good enough for screen, So she should not persue acting. Even though she wanted to be an actor with white background she had come across many indescent proposals and chose to leave her dreams and lead a normal life with 9-5 job as a teacher. However, Arkoja did not give up. She got an opportunity as a lead actress with her skills in 'Ogo Nirupma'. Then there was no looking back. One after another, she got many chances with her acting skills. Arkoja's story of becoming an actress can inspire anyone who wants to pursue their dreams.
