In Search of Color #03 - GMC Syclone with waterslide decals

Welcome to my channel. Please like this video and subscribe to support my future work. In this video I will customise 1/64 scale Hot Wheels GMC Syclone with custom DIY acrylic paint. I'm using cheap pearl silver paint in combination with copper and fluorescent orange mix. Waterslide decals are applied, and for protecting I'm using Mipa CC-8 2K professional clear coat.

I made this garage by myself. It was using various materials that I found in my home and from flea market, plastic parts from old electronics, toy parts, various wires and pipes. Nice "factory" what if type of build. Idk if I can cosign the orange bedsides though... I think you missed the mark on that one. Maybe if you had just done the tonneau cover and not run the color over it would be pretty decent. Other than that... not exactly my taste in wheel choice... but, all in all... pretty decent.

Can I clear coat after painting or is it after putting the decals on?

I was spraying clear coat after putting decals. That way decals are protected and cannot be damaged or removed. If you want to leave option to remove decals some day and put another decals than you can spray clear coat after painting and put decals over clear coat.
