You're right, but see, we mostly need to pay coins for event baits for the Event. Its a Event for me which is 60-70% likeable, we should need only event fish, no commons carps, asps, etc. I'll hope on the next year their decorate the full Map, with orange leafes, Scare Bears, Spiders which are making Scary Noises or something.
