Lived in Seattle in the early days of grunge! Was a musician for a while, it was a blast to meet so many folks, before they were famous, they were just normal people like me and you! So sad that many of them are gone now. What great stories we could tell! Thanks again Scott!

@Clay no doubt but I believe nirvana was close to the end of it's road as far as the band breaking up and each going off to do their own thing with different people. You already know they most likely would of had a reunion tour or something later down the line though so yeah its unfortunate. So many what ifs had that not happened (his passing). Dave was already cooking up the beginnings of foo fighters material during the end of nirvana. Who knows? Sad. Im surprised layne Stayley Actually lived as long as he did. Those two are very similar in so many aspects. I think he was already on borrowed time during the late 90s. It sucks so many of them were into hard drugs and couldn't stop. Alot of people think without the drugs, we wouldn't have the amazing material they created but I don't buy it. They were already extremely talented musicians and I believe they still would of created amazing content even without drugs being involved. Sucks. Cheers.

As someone born with Spastic Cerebral Palsy, I am deeply touched by the empathy you possess. By sharing your observations of Seattle with those who may not be able to visit, you have opened their eyes to the beauty of these places. Your compassion and respect for those who would love to walk by you calling attention to the young man on the motorized skateboard at 9:20 have touched my heart. You possess a rare quality that I hope you never lose. You are needed as a voice for those who require it, and your impact is significant. You catch people off guard with your message, as your physical differences are not there to make an argument or to exhibit inexplicable behavior. Thank you for being a rare gem in this world. Your empathy and compassion are greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Lindsey

You caught the lakeside ave home! Not alot of kurt fans know about that house, and realistically that was the house Kurt spent the most time in, in Seattle. And he only rented the house, for $2000 a month which was probably alot back then even for the view and area. It’s sad because alot of the venues and studios from that era are gone here. The on ramp turned into El Corazon (my least favorite venue to play in town) and the song where they recorded last (You know you’re right) Robert Lang studios is still there, and I think Dave recorded some foo fighters stuff there afterwards.

I gotta say it's great to get all this background info on Kurt but I feel it's hard to pin down - quintessentially - his main residence of significance. His 'Neverland' if you will! The suicide house has almost no reference photos, apart from the obvious garage room images. Then there's the In Utero house in LA. But I get the vibe from all your videos lately that Kurt really was lost. There was no real sense of 'home' or belonging. I can only hope he has found eternal peace at his final resting place. What an interesting guy.****edit I must add though that it does appear there was a sense of future for Kurt and Courtney, particularly in regards to the 'Nirvana' property at Carnation, WA. Unfortunately he just didn't make it there to enjoy it later. By the way I write this comment from Waterford in Ireland which is the county right next to Cork, where Kurt previously mentioned historical family connections. I've always felt close to this guy despite not being much of a 'grunger'. Seemed an awesome dude. RIP buddy 😥
