I actually had some of these as a kid and my biggest complaint back then was that the limited articulation (especially the completely static legs on some figures) really limited the play options.

Never really liked the concept of "slimed" action figures, there's not much creativity for the child as it's an event that's already happened for the character. Why can't they just buy a tub of slime and throw it on them themselves?

These figures were one of the greatest disappointments of my child hood. They looked okay on the box but in person just hideous. The roach deluxe figure quality was incredibly poor and broke immediately. I got nearly all of them though as my family got them for me all on clearance.

Hi Junkman! Thanks for another great segment! I’m really wasn’t too fond of the Dick Tracy Movie Figures. They wore poorly produced and were not a very attractive series of figures to display or collect. The Kenner figures from the movie Waterworld were pretty bad (figures and bad blister card graphics) and would make a good segment for more worst movie figures. Thanks!

These were actually designed by a guy who worked on the original Masters of the Universe line, surprisingly. I only know because one of the figures was once on Ebay bearing his signature. Overall I liked the deluxe Mikey and , with some customization, Agent K. There's also a hidden Edgar inside the spaceship that comes with the Zap 'Em van. The interior of the ship is loaded with detail, much like some of the the Playmates TMNT line and Toxic Crusader figures. The third movie has better action figures- more accurately detailed and very articulated, and they even happen to be in 3 3/4 Star Wars scale.

I think the only figure I really liked was the Edgar figure, but I agree, all the alien figures look really good. Fun fact: I had a toothache once and I drink a whole bottle of Jim Beam to numb the pain. I was joking around with my sister and neighbor and somehow MIB came up and I did Edgar's "A pet cat!" perfectly. :) haha We lost it. Thanks, JB. :) Thanks for the video

while a lot of the movie toylines from this era were trash, at least we actually got figures from a larger variety of properties than we do today. all we get these days is the same handful of marvel and dc with some star wars sprinkled in. crappy figures or not, i miss the variety on the toy isles.

It's harder (read: more expensive) to sculpt a believable human face as opposed to an alien. That's doubly true when you're trying to sculpt a known celebrity's face.

Aw man good one! I loved them. I had all of these. The van the guy with the desk that flipped around. Everything you showed(not the bendy guys)Honestly forgot about them until this video though. I remember yeah they looked like they came from a cartoon. It wasn't will smith and tommy lee jones action figures like the Michael keaton and George Clooney Batman's you know what im saying? But I think these were fucking sick. The burger king toys were kinda similar seems like they came with a little alien and slime that you could take on and off the figures, were fuckin cool too.
