What I hate is when the card has some of the line up, but not all. Then you pick up another figure in the same wave and it's shows more of the line! I loved the original Toy Biz X-men figures. There was like 30 figures and vehicles on every card.

I'm still not sure how your rating system works, if it can score lower on overall than on any individual category. It's like they're getting an F on their report card even though they didn't get lower than a D on any tests. Either you're being too generous when scoring the categories or too critical when scoring the overall, or you're grading on a curve.

Wow ! That was shockingly bad . I barely remember the movie , and hadn't even thought about IT in over 30 years . I had forgotten that a toy line was almost a pre requisite for any action movie in those days , not like nowadays . Another Great Video Junkman!!! I had no idea these existed!! WOW!!! LMAO!! I do remember the film though. I was trying to think of what I could come up with as far the WORST action figure line. I had to go back to the 70"s for this one: "The Space Raiders" by Tomland. They sold these guys in places like the local drug store so You can imagine how awesome this toy line was!!! If I can come up with any more I will be sure to say something for sure. Check Out these crazy looking figures online they may bring back some memories (probably bad ones) LOL!! While going through the 80's figure line I did come across one that was truely awful looking "The Bugmen of Insecta" I never saw them in a store but they were really bad looking and had generic looking weapons!! : )

I don’t know what everyone else thinks, but I think u r right... the movie is so bad it’s good, and the action figure line has the same appeal. They probably didn’t do it on purpose. So far this is the only line on your list that I want to own one of. (Of course Stallone). Something about these figures are fun, and I don’t be that from the rest. That’s just how I feel. Probably in the minority.

For backstory, Canon also did Life force, a very adult zombie-sci fi mashup that tanked the career of Tobe Hooper, and the Lou Ferigno Hercules movie(s!), possibly the weirdest live action production to come out in the 1980s.
@Robert-nu4vc9 ай бұрын
Hooper did Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 after Life Force and it did alright. Noting spectacular but it made money in the end. He didn't do too much more after that though. Nothing noteworthy really. Hooper's son was making All America Massacre, but for whatever reason, the movie was never released, although it was said to be nearly completed. We'll probably never get to see that movie. Bill Moseley won't even talk about that film anymore.

I actually love this movie, lol. I was 7 when it came out. My friends and I have fond memories to it. It's possible that if I was 25 when it came out that I might not like it. On the playground when we would arm wrestle, we always did the hat twist, lol. Even to this day when I meet someone close to my age, this movie will eventually get brought up. And the Sammy Hagar song rocked! As far as the figures go, I don't recall seeing them in the stores. I remember seeing them in the JC Penney Christmas catalog, but that's about it. Maybe I overlooked them because I was into M.A.S.K. and the Silverhawks at that time. I still to this day do not own one single figure from this movie. And that is saying something because I've been buying 80's figures on eBay for 19 years. I have checked up on them though. They're kind of expensive.

Hmmm... Frankly, I think bendable action figures are WORSE. They're just rubber without real joints. You see that crap all the time at Dollar Stores and Half-Price Books. The worst action figures I've seen are the GENERIC ones they sell at Barnes & Noble. There's a company that does those for licenses. I saw them use those figures for a Batman '66 action figure line that was just mediocre. The last time I saw them they had the Bookworm action figure on clearance. Nobody knows that character so B&N had a hard time getting rid of him!!!

Up until Jurassic park toys in the 90s most action figures based on movies looked like the actors but because Jurassic park and later star wars toys were such hot sellers actors began asking more royalty money for their likeness, so toy companies tried to get around this by not or barely looking like their actors. This problem exists even today Hasbro is too cheap to pay for Chris pratt's likeness almost every startlord figure they make covers the face with a non removable mask
