Hey buddy. One thing you need to realize is that there is NOTHING you can do that makes you unworthy. 💕 God is love, understanding, your personal helper, and accepts us just AS WE ARE. You are always worthy of God, always worthy of a place with God. Yes you can do things that make it so a Bishop won’t let you into the temple, but that doesn’t make you unworthy. If you can’t kick a habit like pornography or other addictions, there’s a reason you have that addiction: you have a core wound and pain you’re trying NOT to feel. Or anxiety or stress you’re trying to self-medicate. It’s usually childhood trauma that creates addictions. Not satan tempting you. Go see a good therapist and you can free yourself from any addictions or pain you have. Jesus is there to have your back along the way. But ultimately we all just need a good therapist. It was Jesus who pointed me to my therapist all those years ago when I once felt like you do. Shame for the things we have done is NOT inspiring and fixes NOTHING. Only love and belief in our own goodness. 💕 You’re awesome. Don’t let anyone tell you different, even yourself. god doesn’t exclude.

at this time in my life, i’m facing deaths of both parents, my mom died of cancer, my Dad will be going soon. I live with a spouse who doesn’t believe, iI i did not have my savior , i could not make it. I don’t know how he can live without knowledge of where he will go when he dies, he was taught the gospel,but has rejected it.

Luckily, "truth is truth" no matter where it comes from. With my family and friends who don't share my faith, I have had to teach and share Gospel principles with them from a more worldly perspective, that they are willing to accept. Instead of talking about "faith," I would talk about trusting in myself, others, and the good in the world and maybe a higher power; without talking about "repentance," I talk about changing and improving my thoughts and behaviors. Sooner or later, with them agreeing with you, they may realize that they have really just been believing in Gospel principles and hopefully the Holy Ghost can touch their heart at that point.

Well because faith is what brings growth. If you know a thing you know it but you.learned it by faith. You studied it out then you tried it and it passed the test. God is no different or his restored church. If you try it and put it to the test then you will know. if you learn of a thing that u cannot see but in most cases only feel. Then your faith has made your knowledge possible. You just have to trust me on that (lol). let go seek and u will find. @@lemur6871 Faith is kind of like hope's cousin. One usually comes with the other. Without hope, life is pretty BLEAK! Without hope, there's really no motivation to have faith (which is action/choice). Being proactive in life gets a person somewhere, but with no faith (or action), we really get NOWHERE. YEP! Jesus said whether it be from my mouth or the mouth of my servant, it is the same. Russell M. Nelson is NOT ONLY the L.D.S. prophet, but is ALSO the prophet of this WORLD. I ask God to help me understand the bible say about our Savior....so i ask God to send me someone who can help me to understand about the bible,and ii meet some religious faith.. but still no one can help me fully explain about our Savior.. and the answer come when my college instructor invite me to attend the religious institute.. until i meet the missionary.. and the missionary ask me yo pray aboit the truth.. So i fast and pray. I found the truth trough scripture study ,praying and fasting with faith.. i know that the Book of Mormon is true.. because this book help me to build my strong faith in God, thought me to be strong to fight every struggles, every challenges and every trials in life..until i fully understand my purpose of life..

Question: How do you know if the source is a good source? Many people say if it's from the Washington Post then it must be true. But, sadly, that is NOT true. The truth comes through the Holy Ghost. If he is your companion, then you will know whether something that is said is true of not. You will just know, because of that companionship and that Spirit within you. Be still, and know.

Most of what's on the internet is pretty useless, which is probably why it's free. -Thom Truelove The brethren have spoken about this for years. Popular and loud opinions are usually unreliable. Every decision I have ever made that I wish I could change was based on inaccurate or incomplete information. Even sometimes revelation is not complete information. All we can do is our part and then trust in God's Grace, His wisdom, and His timing.

There are mostly younger people in this video. In my experience, people of my generation (I'm in my early 30s) and people younger than I (I teach high school) are generally very adept at identifying which sources are suspect and which are reliable. From what I have seen on social media, it is usually older people who are more likely to believe unreliable sources online. I wish this video included representation from a wider age range as I fear that some older viewers might feel like this information doesn't apply to them.

The truth is that there are contradictions even in the bible because for both the Bible and Book of Mormon, we have an unreliable narrator. Man. Neither were written by God. Just people who believed they heard God’s message.

Man is the tool God uses to bring His word to us. And in the Book of Mormon, there was a prophet (or a few) who recognized this weakness. They have said that we should not attack the Word, for it has been written in the weakness of the flesh. Man's not perfect, only God and His Son Jesus Christ are. But they love us, and that's what counts.
