Clearly the camera operator is disgruntled/failed guitarist. He refused to even include Jay’s guitar work in frame during verses! Deliberately just a smidge to high to capture guitar, but the upper wall looks good. 👍

I know he's not underrated to his fans, but J Mascis is an underrated/undertalked about guitar player. I love his style. I'd call his soloing feel style (which is typically my favorite) but that's just me.

You're so right about his soloing style. He improvises every solo. He never plays it the same twice. That's why he feels it so much, he expresses the emotions he is feeling in that instance through his guitar playing. It's amazing to watch.

Lou Barlow is a great bassist, even better guitarist, and even better singer. Sebadoh is my all time favorite band Barlow is in. Folk Implosion is great too, but honestly, the stuff where Lou sings is the best.

Now they are getting repect. seen them over 20 times and the fog with Mike Watt which was a highlight. J has to be one of the top guitarists out there, pardon the pun. top twenty ever.

I can barely hear the bass, considering this is Dinosaur Jr. the levels of the bass are too low. Barlow's bass has always been as loud as J's guitar.
