Soooo informative. I'm in Maine with a private well and my water tested at 25 micrograms per Liter. The "safe" limit is 10 micrograms/L. I'm thinking a point-of-use ion exchange filter is what I require. I have felt different since moving to Maine three years ago; the Arsenic hinders activity. Test your water. It's worth the penny or two.

Distilling well water for cooking & drinking use would solve toxicity problems

Yeah I live in central mass which I just read commonly has arsenic in the well water..Looks like my morning coffee could be killing me slowly! Luckily I drink bottled water most of the time
