Today I bought one, to save gas. I love the idea that they are developed in South-Africa to save time and wood/fuel in poor countries. And that they are used in the rich countries for the same reasons. Using a wonderbag when you are camping, is a great idea! I live in the Netherlands, and there we are familiair with the "hooikist". A box with hay, where you can put your pan in. It works the same way, but a wonderbag is easier to carry with you.

The story behind it is worthwhile reading about, but I wasn't wrong about it being an amazing pillow lol

You need a smaller pot, the less air space the better

your pan needs to be filled to at least 75 % of food and liqued.

Worked just fine the way it was. But appreciate the advice 😃

This is not new, it is like a haybox, but fancy. It is a bit like slow cooking, without the use of power. Insulation being the key to this way of working.

🤣 I never said it was a new invention, Was merely showing it off and giving a bit of background information. I may have said it was a new bit of kit I given as a present, which it was. Doesn't sound like you actually watched the video but appreciate you taking the time to comment my friend

Wonder bag 😂Are there any real old school hill folk left or is this hipster nonsense becoming the norm ? What happened to a flask of tea and cheese peeces ffs.
@fatgolfscotland2 жыл бұрын
It's hardly hipster lol and who actually takes a flask of tea out with them unless they are going to the beach with some egg sandwiches lol
