They say that if you can stand on the vehicle, you say "on the vehicle"; and if you can't stand on it, you say "in the vehicle". For example: an airplane, a bus, a train... you can stand on it, than, you are on the train, bus, plane. In a car, a truck... you can't stand, therefore, you are in a car...🤔
