That Concorde had me thinking this was archive material, and I was searching for the history of the ATR series. Then he pulled out his electronic flight bag ..... Say, love the video. To gearhead/pilots like me it would have been great to see any extra fuel tanks installed and how the crew 'lived' onboard this long flight.

You are correct... we mean the Air Force Base right near Cadiz so we called it that way so people would have an idea where it was located... If we said Rota most people would not have known where we were overflying.... Thanks though... hope you saw our crew overflying your base :)

Im from the Caribbean and recently our local airline LIAT had 2 ATR 72-600 delivered from toulouse to Antigua. Think it was a 3 day 4 leg flight as well. So interesting.

hey guys, just one thing. At minute 08:35 it shows Cadiz Air Force Base, its wrong. It is Rota air force base and is a spanish naval air base shared with the us air force. Rota, LERT. I know it because i work at ramp. Great video!!.

They come to The Netherlands for maintenance apparently. Had several flights with these guys in Brazil recently. Must say my opinion on ATR's did change there. It is their workhorse for the very small lines. I mean, you do not fly in am A330 to Pelotas....it wouldnt fit....

The Concorde is parked next to the Airbus (BAE) factory. This is the same airport were last friday the A350 made it's maiden flight.. It's a shame the concorde doesn't fly anymore. Being more than 40 years old, it's still looks very modern!

ATR has big fuel tanks. 5000 kg is sufficient for up to 8 hours cruise at high altitudes.
