This was a great good old fashioned horror flick. Low budget, no real gore, just a great tension building, get under your skin movie! Kudos to the guys who wrote produced & acted in it. Love horror movies, always on the lookout for a good scare, this was the 1st movie to give me the creeps & keep me second guessing in a long long while. Loved it

A fantastic portrayal of loss, uncertainty, love, disappointment and desperation, and the horrors they cause, metaphorically and otherwise. The need for closure that most never have the satisfaction of receiving. Amazing film!

A word to th wise - PLEASE DO NOT BIN THIS FILM AFTER ONLY WATCHING FOR 20 MINS ! I almost did ( i only read comments after viewing) but something told me to keep wth it! OMG this is one scary scary film. Its very rare for me to jump out of my skin at anything, but 3 yep THREE times i found myself hanging off the ceiling light fitting 🤤 its true there's very little in spec f/x or computer manipulation, no real gore but its so soooo frightening. Why arent films like this given better publicity? Especially when there is so much utter crap out there posing as horror films. People, ths is th real deal. I totally recommend you watch this ( may be wth a friend 😨) 10 out of 10 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

It took me a bit to get into this movie it was a little slow at the beginning so I took a break and read some of the comments everyone seemed to like it so I watched till the end and it is pretty good it doesn't matter that there is no big budget it's worth the watch. Thanks for the upload

This is my second viewing of this film and I stick to my original comment. Don't pigeon hole this film being A or B grade, etc, it's simply a great film that proves that you don't need sophisticated effects to make a film frightening. What you do need is a good story and talented actors to bring the story to life and this film has both.

This is a good movie. What I gather the meaning or purpose of this movie revolves around who you are and what you are ultimately striving or reaching toward as a goal. The house brings your intentions, as hidden in the subconsciousness as they may be, to the surface of your consciousness.

Some very good human behavior questions. Actors were very capable. Due to budget issues some of the movie was lacking but I wish the producers had a bigger budget.

wow, im blown away be the amount of people in the comments who have experienced a shadow person. I have experienced them too. I actually had one of them get in me but didnt know for quite a while it was there and from within me then it was messing with my emotions. Another person with special gifts and could see them better then I removed it from me and killed him (the shadow person...they can be killed. When it died, I actually felt it die)

I love movies on the paranormal. I don't scare too easily but this movie even made me jump. For a low budget movie, I gave it thumbs up. It ranks right up there with the cult classic " NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD" Which was released in 1968.

Okay, this one's actually reasonably creepy, although I am solidly behind the guy who keeps saying "LET'S GET OUTTA HERE!!" The minimal background music helps. The silence in which most of the dialogue takes place really enhances the "Jeez, this is REALLY CREEPING ME OUT" factor. When the one guy was talking about how the 'dark force' drags out the worst thoughts he's ever had, I wanted to scream "It's a Dementor! Get some chocolate!!" :D

I liked the dif twist of handling a situation like that! The story line was cleverly different as well! It was a bit over acted by the dark haired guy but, it did not detract at all. Kind of gave it a little bit of that B movie feel. However, expecting a total B movie, I was extremely surprised by It! I have watched prob a million movies by now and I have to say, this was a really good movie! Totally enjoyed it! I especially love films that are low budget and deliver that million dollar feel! Thanks!

shadow figures are real we had an evil one in our house and had to get two priests in to force it out it was terrifying and i stayed with friends for. months then got my own flat leaving me VB mam sister brother on their own

Also th actor who plays Clint, hes called Bill Hall i think, has th strong unusual features as th late John Lennon, wth a modicum of specialised make up hed be th double of our wonderful musician & fellow Brit, in an autobiographical film or/and film of th Beatles story. They all put in a very good performance though, th actors in ths film i mean. Full credit & big thanks to all on ths feature. Excellent & Brilliant

One last thing, its a tad confusing when th 3 lads refer to themselves & th others as brothers, im thinking are th 3 of them brothers meeting up there after a long period but they wouldn't act as total strangers so whos brother/brothers are dead then? Th film initially doesn't clarify this very well. So for th dumb witted, including me, th scenario is - 3 young men are dead, none of them are related just friends sharing a house while being students. After their deaths each young man has a family member pick up their mementos & belongings. Each family member arriving to do ths task is th brother of each dead lad. Each of the living young men are not related & are practical strangers to each other. All clear to everyone?

very good movie .. good scares from time to time, plus a nice new concept behind the story. only a couple of things I didn't like: 1. the back and forth between the guy who wanted to read and the guy who didn't wanna listen. I thought their argument went along for too long [unrealistic] . some of the entries from the journal could have been sacrificed to allow for the interaction to be more convincing (either just remove a few journal entries, or make them consequential to make the guy start to want to listen) 2. the guy who wanted to leave multiple times and then he wouldn't ; I wasn't convinced that someone THAT terrified would stay even a second. if you made him not that much scared, or created really compelling reasons for him to change his mind, maybe.. but as it is, it was again unrealistic
