In the Final (Dark Star Core) (Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story) - GaMetal Remix (2018)

Dark Bowser and the Dark Star Core have returned to close out this year's GaMetal May Madness! ...wait what do you mean it's not May?
When I asked what old GaMetal remixes you'd like to see return this year, I was surprised how many people mentioned Dark Star Core. It's one of my favorite older GaMetal arrangements, so I didn't change a whole lot around in this remake. I mostly filled some spots that were a bit empty in the 2013 remix.
Smash calls this song 'The Grand Finale', but before that it's been called 'In the Final' from what I'm assuming is a direct translation. I called it 'Dark Star Core' in 2013 because I wasn't aware of the official name.
This is still probably my favorite M&L final boss theme. Enjoy!

Totally true, I remember that when I played vs Dark Bowser in the part you need to vacuum the dark star I literally destroyed my thumb because of emotion and because instead of spamming the x button I made a similar a movement similar to that of playing a guitar so my thumb skin was tearing apart, all in all, bit is my favorite m & l along with partners in time and dream team bros

I think I'll come out of the shadows to put this forth once and for all. This is easily the best remix of In the Final, the hands-down GREATEST final boss theme in a Mario game I've ever heard. The epic atmosphere of an incredible final showdown of an anti-hero vs. the dark copy of his being and memories- Bowser vs. Dark Bowser. Mario and Luigi vs. Fawful. To decide the fate of the entire Mushroom Kingdom as it hangs in the balance, at the precipice of the climax. There is a hint of additional desperation in this remix, emphasising that not only are the heroes giving it their all- it is their only chance to turn the tides and save the world from the clutches of their greatest threat yet. Thank you for blessing us with this cover. Metal covers of final boss themes just have that extra hint of badass, and it clearly shows.
