TB Skyen's Playthrough so far is just the perfect mix of relaxing and exciting, it's super fun to chill and I will keep enjoying the commentary, the singing, and all of the fun that's coming along with these Thank you, for all you offer us.

Unsure if you are (were?) aware, but "Disengage" is an action everyone has. Could have used it on Karlach against Grym, and then just jump away without getting knocked prone. If you ARE aware, then I apologize for being a know-it-all.

Damn, nice Grimm fight. That hammer drop on Karlach was pretty epic. I bet Karlach approves on it as well, she seems like the type.

One thing I really like about the Grym fight is the “tink-ta-tink-tink” sounds you hear in the background, because superheated metal actually makes that noise.

My brother was with my when I did the Gym fight, thankfully he held his tongue, just waiting to see how I would handle it. If necessary I'm sure he would offer a tip or a hint. But I was a Gnome Monk, so I just beat the breaks off the thing and after the fact he explained how often the forge hammer is utilized.

Saw Skyen do this battle and had to try it. A barbarian with rage, a potion of the colossus for 1d4 bonus damage, haste for an extra action, bless for the 1d4 to rolls to hit, and a very large hammer let me handle him in 2 rounds. Granted my barb hit 8 times in those rounds... but still. Gotta say I do love seeing a play through so much different than mine. Thanks for all the fun man

Yeah, that's probably the better way to go through that trap corridor in the beginning. I solo-dashed-and-gaseous-form-scrolled my way through on the first playthrough. I just didn't like Astarion that first time...

It's a puzzle boss so it's designed to kick your ass to pieces unless you figure out the exact solution

@@theveyasSame, sometimes it's just about party comp and build being weird with the boss. Generally, though, you'll get better. I sucked when I started, wasn't familar with CRPGs (did play D&D), but I found my footing.

@@2BSkyen don't want to brag about it, but I had beaten him "wrong way" without problem on release version. Guess having two raging barbarians with warhammers (Tav and Karlach), Shadowheart with some good mace and being slightly overleveled helped a lot. Achievement notification was very funny. "Beat Grym without hammer? Wait, what hammer...? THIS HAMMER?"

@@Barmaglott17 Ye. I tried to beat him with a hammer and i couldn't. So I destroyed him with Barbarian + Ranged Rouge.

I notice you don't read the short flavor text in the gear like rings, weapons and armors, not always at least. You should, they sometimes fill out more info about the world, including the owner of the magic tower.
