Isn't it funny? You meet the mummies in the depths of this well, when their brains left their bodies through enlightenment to reach the surface. And where do you meet the "Enlightened Ones", the brains that "escaped" the well if not inside the well, just higher up. There was no escape through enlightenment, because they are now trapped inside a literal archive, where they continue to "be enlightened", oblivious to the fact that they are just as trapped as they were in their bodies.

Coming to this hot off the heels of FFVI. This is a game I never got the chance to play, I never had a PS1. I jumped from the SNES to PS2, and only had a Game boy for a couple years before I get a GBA SP. It was with that PS2 that I got introduced to the series with FFX (Which is one of my picks for favorite game of all time... Or maybe FFXII). So this is my chance to experience the game that more or less put Final Fantasy on the map in the west. (Still waiting for you to play XII by the way)

Don't know if you read comments on videos as old as this, but in 2023 they did a Pixel Remaster of this game. So if you have a Switch emulator and pc powerful enough to run it you could play that upgraded version.

I could binge watch you go through this game and experience it un-edited and just have 5-10 mins of "boss designs outro" explaining ideas behind designs etc. waiting for episodes of this series is just unbearable. Especially since I stopped playing league, lol content is not really interesting to me, this series is what got me subscribed.

Echoing another comment: i really do enjoy the fast forwarded fights with your commentary set on top. It's quick, it allows us to see your reactions to the battle content as it happens, and it looks ever so slightly silly
