I watched a video of her coaching you from a year ago... you were doing Tkatchev drills for part of the video. It is so cool too see the changes in her. Back then, she was still learning one to one correspondence (the idea that you are counting "things" ... such as leg lifts... and not just counting). She needed the scaffolding (child development term) of your dad doing it with her to get her started, otherwise she just counted to ten. Now she has one to one correspondence totally ingrained, but didn't rerecognize that you had already done a couple, so started counting beginning with one. Yes, I'm a child development nerd. But it is so frigging fascinating to me! 😄😄 In that video, she was also wasn't able to do leg lifts... she would try to swing, so your dad had to help her keep her back straight just to get the mechanics of lifting her legs, not swinging. She also needed him to help her actually life her legs, because little ones at that age don't yet have much for core strength, at least not lower abdomen (motor development tends to start at the head and work its way down... they can stabilize their heads first, then their chest, then their whole trunks... they can lift their heads first, then their shoulders, and learn to engage lower abs last). Now she does leg lefts without thinking about it. (Yep... I'm a child development nerd!) And then their is the fact that she is SO STINKING CUTE!. So much fun to watch her grow and develop!

Former teacher here, and I saw the same things! She has a better vocabulary than most ADULTS! She just hopped up and did leg lifts like it was no big deal. She also has a REALLY good cartwheel! I love watching "Coach Audrielle"
