This was my mom’s favorite show in the mid 90s. It was a kick in the head finding out that Alan Autry was from my hometown of Fresno. And then, I randomly met him and Howard Rollins at of all places, the local video store in my neighborhood! I was so excited, I asked the owner to use his phone. My mom came sprinting down because she loved them both. They signed a $1 bill she had and she still tells that story to this day lmao.

Carroll O'Connor did a fantastic job stepping out of the shadow of his Archie Bunker character in this show. So many actors become famous for a single role and then can never get out from that character's shadow. Carroll was one of the exceptions to this rule.

I agree, its a great song, but it has somewhat of a spooky vibe. I think its creepy in the same sense as creepy television idents, where you, as a child associate it with the night(when the shows would end & you would see the logo), & subsequent spookiness of the dark & being alone in your room, along with any of them that are just creepy.
