I meant to say about this song too....it is one of the many authentic "New York moments" in the show that I wonder how many outsiders get. I was living uptown (not Washington Heights, but Hamilton Heights, basically an extension of the same neighborhood...) during the Blackout of 2003 and I remember how much longer it took them to restore power to WashHts than anywhere else in Manhattan. That "I went downtown to get it" speaks volumes to those of us who remember....
