Thanks @roastable. Always noticed a slight difference in tone and pitch from the version that played at the end of 28 Days Later and every version released after that. Good shit

The song sounding like this sounds the best if just only it was extended just like in the movie.

@@d.fortner6653 That sucks. Here at my place you can watch the video with no problems, region lock is just sad. The guy did such an incredible work filtering out the vocals leaving just a little bit of sound effects. You just don't find this extended version from the movie with the melody when hannah is pulled away from selena in any version of the ost besides this one or by watching the movie.

Enough to recognise it as the original, but also enough to diffrenciate it from the original

If nightmares had a song. This song doesn’t give you the creeps. It gives you sheer terror to your deepest gut…atleast for me

Not sure how to describe what I'm about to but I'm gonna try nonetheless since I'm only going to be on YT for another 2ish weeks. I want to personally myself thank you for something you've indirectly have done which is upload this pitch shift of the track. Whilst you could have never forced or predicted it this upload simultaneously did one of two very crucial things for me when I saw it in late 2019. For one it edged me on to finally get the real In The House, In A Heartbeat Film Version made through some film rips which subsequently became the original first upload of this specific channel of mine. In creating the channel and posting that first draft edit I did for this song is what was the catalyst of a 3 year KZbin journey that I went on where a lot of things happened and helped me to figuring out what to do for my future career paths. The second thing it did for me was inspire a story of mine that I've been figuring out and creating for the better part of 5 years now (and I hope to get completely written in the next 2 or so years). It's strange how it happened but to the best way that I can describe it, a certain day that I listened to this edit on a loop was when I first envisioned the idea of this show and what was originally a throw away idea at first now had more life and meaning than ever and has become my personal favorite passion project that I'm focused on trying to get made, atleast just this one. It was honestly just a toss away concept until that strike of a moment and this edit was directly when it happened. So with that, whoever you are or whatever you've been doing with yourself I want you to know from me to you that I thank you very much for your random post and it's meant a whole lot to me than you could have ever imagined.

Whoa, that’s such a neat comment to get! While I can’t really take credit for John Murphy’s amazing work, it’s really cool that it could have a positive influence on you! Hope things are going well and I wish you the best on wherever your journey continues to take you!

Personally I enjoy this version that was in the movie to the actual song ( same with most of the music in the movie). Still a great song, though. Definitely one of my favorites films ever!
