In The Kitchen - EDIBLE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH!
Hi guys and welcome back!
Today in the kitchen, I’m making something I’ve been seeing in stores for a while now and that’s edible cookie dough!
For those of us who love raw cookie dough, this recipe is fantastic!
This recipe is safe to eat, containing no eggs and utilizes heat treated flour.
I hope you guys like this easy and delicious recipe!

Edible Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Recipe:
1 cup all purpose flour (heat treated)
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup room temp butter
1 tsp vanilla extract (I use homemade vanilla)
Pinch of salt (1/2 tsp)
2 tablespoons milk
1 cup chocolate chips or 1/2 cup regular size and 1/2 cup mini (milk or semi sweet)
Before starting, be sure to heat treat the flour either by spreading flour on a baking sheet and toasting in the oven at 350* for 5 to 6 minutes. Set aside to cool completely.
With a mixer, beat together sugar and butter in larger bowl until creamy. Beat in vanilla and salt. Add heat treated flour and mix with spatula until crumbly dough forms.
Stir in milk until dough is just combined. Then fold in the chips. Eat as is or chill then roll into balls or use a cookie scoop for easy portioning if desired.
Enjoy!!
Store dough in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week OR store in freezer for up to one month.
