Hey I'm really enjoying your series and its heart warming to see these kids on the grind. If they learn to grind like this playing ball that will translate over to life. I did want to point out one thing: I'm in no way an expert on shooting but I have been at it for a number of years. One thing that I noticed immediately about his shot from just looking at the small amount of shots on this video is that he never seems to get his shooting elbow down and pointed at the rim. It's always out. Now he forcing his hand to take on ball navigation duties which is why he shoots left of the rim and then right of the rim instead of missing front or back of the rim. For me personally and the way that I've always taught is that you have to point your shooting elbow at the rim and then snap your wrist and hand over top of the elbow. If you start with your body square to the rim and then combine the above shooting motion with a slight hip and shoulder turn as you jump to allow your body to naturally align the elbow to the rim you should only miss front or back. Hope this helps someone up their game. Ball on!

this was dope because you kept it real, I always say they blame the kids for the transfer epidemic but the truth is coaches bring you in the meeting at the end of the year and tell you indirectly to transfer just like they did to trevor. Thanks for the talk about mentality Dev. I was in the lab all summer while playing summer ball for my team. Then I was in the lab in the fall and I'm still in the lab during my season. Mental toughness is a crazy subject... I'm doing better this year as a junior on Varsity. My PPG is about 18.2 my AST is about 5.4 and my TO ratio is lower as well. I don't know, it's like how can I be struggling in some games like this (I was in a offensive slump for three games in a tournament) when I've been putting in work in the lab. The part you talked about how you play will reflect how you live your life got to me. Being in the same grad class as Romello, I know that the time is ticking and my mentality is very crucial to how I perform. Thank you Dev.
