Marion is one of the finest actors of our generation. She immerses herself completely in a role. I will never forget when she transformed herself into Edith Piaf, it was like she was possessed by her spirit or something. I've never seen anything quite like it. She's truly exceptional.

Marion Cotillard is just phenomenal here. The performance and the look she has in her eyes is so captivating. I always saw Lady Macbeth as the villain but here Cotillard makes her human and that human has been through a heartbreaking loss and is driven to find a new life. Perfect.

Marion is a phenomenal actress! She reminds me of Vivien Leigh. Not so much in looks, but they both have this way of completely inhabiting their characters.

Marion Cotillard is so attractive in a sad way. I felt so sad when I saw the tragic ending of "Allied"

I was amazed by her in this. I knew she was a good actress but I wouldn't have thought of for this role. She ended up being my favorite screen interpretation of this part ever. And what I like best about her is her expressive face and eyes. She's made for the screen.

I love the dark lighting used in some scenes, it allows you to focus more on the tones of voice that they use because you can't see their faces clearly.

Good or bad, you can't deny Marion did an exceptional job. I absolutely love her take on the "out damned spot" soliloquy. She did it different to how I've seen it before. Everyone else I've seen has portrayed Lady Macbeth in that scene as typical crazy, bouncy and jittery. However for Marion, she just sat down and spoke and you can clearly see all the emotion on her face and truly focus on what she is saying rather than all the actions of trying to wash some blood that isn't there and etc. It's phenomenal.
