That is in fact exactly what he did, they went insolvent and curry brought their assets for 0.1 million and now he has opened a similar company but for broadband etc coverage im guessing he got a nice payday from the company before that

@@KastorFlux I changed them, left before the second big round of layoffs. Now the company makes less than 10% of what they made at their peak and are just a zombie company with outsourced employees. Personally could be doing better, but I'll keep trying. All anyone can do.

That's actually false. It could be true if you are talking to random stranger. But if someone is doing a PITCH in front of potential INVESTORS - they check videos on how to speak. So the expression actually comes from tutorials.

I think the main thing you have to understand is most of these business are people who have spent years building it up from £100 a month to 200, 500, 1000 and so on. So they’ve put in all the effort and I think when they say they want 50k for 25% it’s not necessarily the value they’re taking into consideration. It’s the fact they’ve done everything and they can’t just give up a massive chunk for nothing because then what’s the point
