Sorry to correct you but Athens is not the oldest city, nor is Lisbon yhe 3rd oldest city in Europe. Plovdiv, Bulgaria - 6000 BCE. Plovdiv is by far the oldest city in Europe, having been founded about 6000 BC.

Nice vid.. reminds me of SF some but w difft architecture. But way more affordable im sure. Hope to visit soon. And we may move there or somewhere in Portugal. Just fear too many tourists in Lisbon. But prefer a city as I've lived in Manhattan, Boston & Cambridge, DC and LA. LA is not good tho of course bc of the sprawl and need a car. Did you settle in Lisbon? What other cities are good overall for expats who don't want to be mobbed by tourists but have conveniences?
