Cheers. I had a few messy net jobs recently, so I try and keep really still and plane the fish into it when it’s ready. Doesn’t always go as planned. My rod is a oldish 5wt sage. I think it is a pulse. Does the job.

@@paulmcfadden4932 Nothing wrong with old rods which are well maintained. They grow on you and become very familiar allowing you to fish confidently.
