These women laid it down, loved the game, and respected each other before 24-hour news and social media. I miss that rawness.

Becky means the world to me, she is such a special player. I wish she would suit up & play again. I need it so bad!! I want more Becky content. She’s truly iconic & I’m so proud of her. I will never forget being a kid watching her & meeting her. That gave me so much strength in life. I’m forever thankful!

Two Great Payers, two great COACHES AND I WILL NEVER FORGET TW'S 3 POINT SHOT AGAINST THE HOUSTON COMETS!!! ONE OF THE BEST SHOTS EVER!!

Ha Ha, I was at that game! I had to laugh because it meant I would get one more game to come to that Sunday (I think it was a Sunday). And we took care of business on Sunday. I won't forget watching the replay over and over and seeing Tina Thompson's face and of course also Becky & the other Liberty players piling on Weatherspoon. I'm so grateful to have been a season ticket holder of the Houston Comets for those championships, some of the greatest fun of my life! Now, I watch the great Las Vegas Aces on tv and League Pass and again great fun and excitement. We've had some tough luck this year but still one of the toughest teams to beat!

SAD ! These 2 ladies are getting ATTACKED for telling the truth / calling out Caitlin Clark FAVORITISM in Sport media/ WNBA. Non Caitlin Clark fans see the cooking of the books when it comes to Caitlin. Players passively guarding her so she can get easy shots/ break records and if you guard her or say anything against Caitlin Clark, you’ll get attack or punished. Hmmmmmm!
@maryanneeag85274 ай бұрын
I respect yoyr opinion and Becky and Spoon are legends who deserve respect. About your point about players passively guarding Clark....she's guarded full court and double and triple teamed. Nothing passive about it. Watch some Fever games and you'll see my point. ✌️

We can not even learn about the "filling" of that cup before 2015, really. If you go onto League Pass, there's nothing before then. No Silver Stars, no Comets, no classic Leslie, Cooper, Hammon, on and on. I can read about it or look at an insanely pixelated video on YT. Unwatchable. NBA, I can see all the classics for the most part. I don't know what ya'll need to do, but can you holler at the commish?

Do the NBA guys always praise and talk abt the older players? It just seems like its MORE BLACK women in the WNBA need the recognition and praise. Of course they all were good plyers...just seems like they are not wanting to just chat abt how good these newer generation is NOW!! Its like ...dont ever forget abt us BLACK WOMEN....
@dmar1914 ай бұрын
You think it’s bad now, give it 2 years for the new CBA and media rights deal to kick in. Salaries will triple almost immediately. Then you will hear from those old timers that feel they ‘deserve it’
@MakaveliTheDon96254 ай бұрын
The Las Vegas Aces Gm Natalie Williams was a great WNBA nobody knows the older players deserve recognition like T Spoon said they build the foundation.
@phDST19134 ай бұрын
it is you that is obsessed (rather, bothered) with the ethnicity of players. you don't even realize probably that they mentioned other great players who were not black in this conversation. its not about remembering black women specifically. it is about remembering that there were those before this new generation that fought and honestly balled out (🔥) before them. The league only started in 1997... you can't compare that with the build up of the NBA (and they do talk previous players in the NBA). These women went through soooooooo much to get us here even and have a place for the new generation to flourish. So it is not about black women as you perceive. It is about women's basketball. You are letting your personal disdain for black anything cloud your perception. Women's basketball is what all of them love and want to see good forward. The frustration is simply that people newer to the league ignore the effort to even get to where the W is today. They are talking about it because the media spends so much energy honestly on 1-2 players. So it needs exposure. It needs the context. So think deeper, this more holistically. Even the new players respect the process more than these new fans.... nothing wrong with you doing the same...
