I became a fan of the Aces when my sorority sister, A'ja, was drafted. As a middle school girls basketball coach, athletic director, and W fan, I was somewhat familiar with Sydney. Exactly two years ago, my husband was in the hospital, I really started to pay attention to the team's social media presence and started following Sydney as well. Unfortunately, my husband passed. Sydney's antics and videos were and are still a source of joy during the darkest period of my life. Thank you so much, Sydney. Yes, God did put you here for more than just basketball! Wishing you nothing but the best! ❤❤❤

SYD, is most definitely my FAVORITE ACES PLAYER. She is such a light and she can BALL. Plus she represents the great state of TEXAS how could I not support my fellow Texas Girl. I love that she's not letting her ability to play basketball, eclipse her desires and dreams to act and do more.
