On full-sized forms, I like to saw out 1/4 half templates and use a router to plow halfway through the plywood, flip the template for the other side. Now a simple jigsaw completes the cut. and a flush cut router bit cleans up the cut for CNC-like precision. I can now donate the forms and retain the half templates if I so desire.

I may buy the CNC plans for the next one and have a buddy cut them for me, it was fun for at least 1 canoe build

Good reality of a workshop. This video does show that sometimes one has multiple things going on at the same time. Thanks for sharing and showing your flow.

@@seamancustombuilds2553 haha! At least it won't dominate your entire shop when you are building it

By making a model you should be able to come up with techniques that apply to full-sized boats. For me, I changed the way I used hot glue to attach strips to the forms as staples no longer work on a model. insted of a dot of hot glue under the strip I can run a bead of glue on the side of the form or both sides on the stubborn ones. Or even hot glue a block of wood if required into the corner of the mold and strip to retain a twist.

Maybe a box that encloses the router with a collection port at the bottom would catch everything. Just an idea.
