Sparkling of Sand is just pure genius!! Did anyone else notice the bird calls used in this song. Especially at the 22:00 mark. It sounds like he is strolling along playing the guitar in nature and communicating through the strings with the birds talking back to him. . I can't say enough good things about this man. Thanks Big B!!

He's as tall as a redwood tree, He weighs 30, 000 tons, And he has the thorns of a hedgehog. First of all, he has the strength of 10 monsters. A chicken bucket on his head, uh... carrying an enormous guitar... whenever he plays a note... The sonic waves cause whole buildings to explode, ... Streets to buckle and split and vehicles to fly about like toys... he come in peace but he dont need to be protected

That’s so Awesome 😊hope they grow up to play the guitar 🎸! Listening to this should be a very good inspiration to get started! and after all … in the distant future someone is going to have to carry on spreading the legend of Buckethead after we all eventually pass away. We are just the most lucky the legend himself still walks and shreds like a monster right now in the time we live in ! His music will always exist for people to hear in the future but I feel extremely fortunate to be alive at the same time as Buckethead in his prime! Greatest Guitarist Ever! Nobody out there can do what he does. 🤟🏻Buckethead Rules ! 🤖🪣🎸👑

Love that first track, it feels like a shortened version of "Frequencies of Caring" which is nice to have, and the 2nd track makes me conclude that pikes 539 through 541 have some of the deepest and strongest solos this year imo, not only that but also the back-tracks has a great feel to them too, and by the other hand Pike 542 a completely different vibe and pretty interesting, all in all a great batch of 4 pikes.

I like how versatile BUCKETHEAD is from rockin' riffs to this new ambient moods. I get entranced. I wonder what his next phase will be?
@andrewpardue3324 Жыл бұрын
That’s the best part 🤔 Nobody knows what’s next , you always have an idea of what it could be but really…😄 probably even Bucket himself included doesn’t know until he starts playing . It probably just comes flowing out when he’s practicing, different days and using different guitars can equal a totally different result ! We’ve even had some funk bass 👍🏻stylings in pikes lately about a week ago 😊 I’ve played guitar myself for 38 years now. Moods come and go and if you’re inspired by a certain sound or feeling and playing at that moment ( probably why he almost never puts it down! 😄) really cool things can happen sound and style wise that wouldn’t happen at any other time. The trick is to figure it out even just roughly and record it ! ( use anything! Your phone , a shitty old cassette recorder or whatever you can use. ) Even if you go back to it later and really listen closely to it and work it from that point the original feeling is still there if you can hear exactly what you played and the tone and vibrato you used etc. If you play it enough you will memorize it. Some of the best stuff any guitar player has ever made was played that night, worked on until it was sizzling ( but unfortunately not recorded ) and then totally forgotten by the morning … never to be heard again… even by the guy who made it up ! 😄

This pike reminds me of a Dr. Who episode with the 11th Doctor, Matt Smith. Its called 'A Christmas Carol'. It takes place on a planet where fish swim in fog in the sky. Trippy idea. Looked fun. On Christmas they'd strap a sleigh up to a shark & galavant through the sky like santa but with a shark instead of reindeer. 😂 Good stuff. I often wonder if Big B ever liked Dr. Who. Buckethead, Dr. Who & Kung Fu are my obsessions. 😂 🤖🪣🩵
