Indeed, record sales don't mean shit ultimately, it's about all the people he inspires, and the amount of people who respect Kanye and his work and are influenced by it are forever higher than anything Taylor Swift, Adele or whoever could

I know some people are only “old Kanye” fans and every fan has a different cut off date for when they think he was no longer good after that( I personally feel every album is great even Vultures 1 and 2) But my point is that he could’ve stopped after the College Dropout and been a legend , Every subsequent album just added to how big of a legend he is and for people who think he’s ruining his legacy i say I get his legacy is going to look even greater in 20-30 years and the way he evolved will be appreciated by more people than today.

Man after his mom passed, he really changed huh. I can't blame him, I can't ridicule him because I haven't even walked in his shoes. I really appreciate what Kanye has done for me personally. His music inspires me, so I gotta thank him for that.
@grgwrld10 жыл бұрын
He seemed a lot happier before his mom passed. In all his old interview he's smiling and laughing more, didn't take him self too seriously. But yeah spot on, thou shall not judge until he walks in ones shoes

Andrew Everson Childish Gambino? Kendrick? Chance the rapper? SchoolBoy? ASAP? >> We can't demand youthful shit from Kanye. He doesn't make weed songs like Wiz Khalifia or college stuff like Kendrick... > What if Wiz Khalifia sang about being responsible? it would suck.

You're SUPPOSED to "change" between ages 22 and 35, duh. Not only that, but he's 100M different in his net worth. Of course your life, lifestyle, vernacular, attitude, and disposition changes. 2Pac "changed".... Jay-Z "changed".... Russell Simmons "changed".... Dr. Dre "changed". Malcolm X "changed". Lauryn Hill "changed", Queen Latifah "changed". LL Cool J "changed". And for that matter, so has Lyor Cohen & Jimmy Iovine.

If they ever do like an official movie of his entire life or even just when he first got in the industry, it would be so hard to condense everything down to a 2 hour movie and not leave out some major part of the story. As big as Kanye is now and was at his peak of popularity probably around Graduation, I think his career will be looked back at in 10-20 years and he’ll rise even higher in people all time ranking if you’re not already someone who thinks he’s a genius and the goat to this day like me. Legend is a strong enough word, he would’ve been a legend still even if he stopped at the The College Dropout.

Lol People talking about how Kanye should go back to talking like this, forgetting the fact that this was 10 YEARS AGO! We're you talking the exact same 10 years ago? If you still are, you need to grow up, fast. You're hating on someone that talks proper now? Lol smh
@dayanjones8 жыл бұрын
+T Dupe it's cute that you think that 1) He wasn't talking properLY here and 2) That talking like a Valley Girl means that you sound proper. You can speak well and still sound like yourself. He was 27 here. How impressionable are you at that age that you 'd change the way you speak?

he's jus proud of what he has... every1 has some kind of arrogance in them... but he has a whole lotta pride... he's happy for wut he has but no hez not perfect.. like how he got on stage at the awards and announced how they shulda gave him the award... and wheather u like his personality or not its all about if u like his music or not... he has some pretty sick lyrics and beats
