This isn't a tambourine. It's a pandeiro. To achieve this sound.. you have to tune it low, and mic it. Choose a mic designed for capturing low frequencies. We used a Shure Beta 52 in this recording. On your DAW or mixer, boost the low frequencies a bit, while notching out some of the mids and you will get a sound like this.Enjoy!

Hey there. So these Micro Snares are made with Black Mylar Heads. It looks like Dafnis is using a clear head on his 6" micro snare. My guess is that it would be a clear 1 ply head. Thanks for the inquiry.
