This may be a late comment but him especially and of course Tito and Sheila lol they are the reason I'm getting a timbales set, I fell in love with this percussion instrument the moment I heard it. This man right here has captivated me with how he's mastered these drums, especially with the cowbells on that last part starting at 9:20, taking one rhythm and turning it into two because of timing. Simply amazing.

Anybody knows the tuning of this timbales as the measure is not the usual 14" - 15" but 13" and 14". I tried the classic tuning C Do for the hembra (14") and G SOL for the macho, but doesn't work.

Marlon Orozco , Depende de tu gusto, cada persona busca el sonido de su agrado, sin embargo las compañías de percusión tienen modelos el cual usado por las mayorías de percusionista por ejemplo LP prestige 322 lo usaba el maestro Tito Puente, hay otros modelos de la LP ES6, ES7 por mencionar algunos de esa marca.
